CR 6407 the beginning

Appearing to be their first trip east from builder EMD at La Grange, Ill, CR 6407 leads CR 6408 and [not shown] CR 6406 and manifest freight downgrade towards Slope Interlocking with a headend helper assist.

CR 6407 would be destroyed in a tragic wreck on the Buffalo Line at Muncy, PA on 1/31/1979.
