BR 1178 is seen at the CSAO MW Shop in South Plainfield, NJ in summer of 2000. This is a Tamper BEB-17 Ballast Regulator and was assigned to CSAO. This machine carried two I.D. tags, one from CR (BR 1178) and one from Norfolk Southern (BR75920T). Machine was repainted into the standard NS MW colors from its original CR MW color (yellow).
