Hagerstown Coaling Tower MD. 9/16/79

Conrail. Ex PRR coal tower & tender in Hagerstown, MD. September 16, 1979. The former PRR tender was used on the M-1 Mountains in the steam era.  The tender was called the "Around the world" tender because of it's large capacity of water & coal.  Hopefully it is preserved at Strasburg, PA PRR State Museum.
